Amanda Ruffin

Amanda received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis from UNT in 2010. She is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis and will be graduating this May. She is also receiving her supervision and once completed will sit for the exam to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Amanda has worked with children with special needs for over 7 years, providing ABA therapy throughout a variety of settings. She has worked in a therapy center, in home, and has provided in-school support. Throughout her experience, she has constantly been inspired and motivated by the progress she sees in her kids. “It is always amazing to look back a week, a month, or a year ago and see just how different each kiddo is. All of the new things they are now capable of because of their growth is what gives me an unshakable desire to continue my work with them.”
